Winning darts team!
Karen Wilcott
Karen
Wilcott
Karen supplied these old photographs of her dad in the Neptune pub in 1967. They They had just won the Brunswick B division darts group.

The pub was the Neptune on the corner of Beauford Street and Hill Street, Liverpool 8. Locally known as the corner of Beauy, or the Neppy. The pub is no longer there now as it was demolished in the early eighties and there are now houses in its place.

Brunswick memories!

Bernie
Smith
Bernie Smith gave us this great old picture of st Malachy's infants. Can you spot him? (Rollover his portrait to take off a few years as a clue!)

The kids were arranged in rows - with those with shoes and socks at the front, those without socks in the middle row, and the unfortunate kids without either, were on the back row so their feet were hidden!

Bernie also contributed these pictures of Brunswick gardens (below) and a couple of really interesting group photos of the residents.

Click on the images to enlarge them - and use the green "Back" button at the the top of the screen to return to this page.

Kids from the Florrie
Brian Robinson
Brian
Robinson
Brian Robinson contributed these pictures of the Florry's football team - from the 70's if the hairstyles are anything to go by!

The second picture is of a group of lads from the area who were on holiday in Kent - their first time out of the city.

The Florry is currently in danger of being demolished, and he is part of a campaign to save the building.

Brian also gave us these pictures of streets around the Dingle.
