Dingle Renaissance was funded by the Capital of Culture Creative communities fund - to establish an online archive of the Dingle. It is based in Dingle Online, a Uk online centre run by Dingle Opportunities, a community organisation formed ten years ago to help the people of the area.

One of the skills we hope to develop from this project - is photograph restoration. If you look below you can see the "before" and "after" versions of a picture on this site -

As you can see it is a vast improvement - and by digitally enhancing and repairing your pictures - you can ensure that an archive is preserved for generations to come!

At Dingle online, we are dedicated to equipping the community with the required IT skills to get online. We can provide free internet access and advice on how to use the computers for jobsearch, CV creation and more.

You can also access a huge range of free online training courses, such as a Gardening course from the BBC, to practicing your driving test with the AA.
